Dutch Delftware, Polychrome Bird Charger, 18th century

£395.00

This 18th-century Dutch delftware charger features a polychrome decor of two birds on a bridge surrounded by bushes and flowers. Its vibrant polychromy of blue and red is combined with an exquisite circular movement of foliage and flowers that emphasise the elegant figures of the birds in the centre. With an array of gorgeous patterns, this rare Dutch Delft charger is in excellent condition and features the mark of the De Klaauw factory underneath. It’s a stunning piece to display on a tabletop or to hang on a wall.
