An early 19th-century French faience plate from Nevers, decorated in blue, green and purple with sprays of flowers in the centre, surrounded by garlands of ferns and further flowers all around the lip. The edge is delicately shaped. A lively piece of Nevers pottery, with its characteristic loose brushstrokes and wonderful floral patterns.
