This early 19th-century French faience barber’s bowl from Nevers is decorated with an exotic scene of two towers surrounded by oversized palm trees, bushes and birds in a vibrant palette of orange, blue and green. The lip features an abundant frieze of lines and foliage. This beautiful piece has the distinctive deep shape of a barber's bowl and can be easily hung on a wall thanks to the holes in the foot.
